Here are the steps that I took to complete the puzzle. I believe they can be applied to many things we do in life.

– Edges first – this is relatively easy because each piece either has an edge or it doesn’t. The challenge of this step is that it does take time and can feel tedious if you get ahead of yourself and impatient.

– Separate unique objects from the image that go together. (Example, maybe there is an iconic red phone booth in a mostly black and white London scene.)

– Separate pieces into color and pattern categories.

– Begin trial and error with color groupings. Connect pieces that fit together.

– Start to look at pieces and orientation of connection points. Connect pieces that fit together.

– Repeat steps #3-5 with more and more detail.

– Complete the puzzle.

– Begin a new puzzle.
